Plasma Diagnostics

Plasma diagnostics are tools that allow a researcher to determine properties of the plasma under study. Many different techniques are available from in-situ probes to passive optical diagnostics. The SETS group investigates advances in plasma diagnostics, both as a means to an end, and as a viable research topic in its own right. The primary diagnostic techniques investigated so far involve Langmuir probes and Microwave Interferometers.
