What is
CanSat?
|
CanSat is a unique design challenge
developed as a project by the S3FL at the
University of Michigan with various objectives in mind:
- Competing for the first time in the CanSat
competition.
- Giving students know-how knowledge in all areas
of the development of this project
As part of the development cycle of this
project the students gained knowledge in the areas of
design, analysis, testing, fabricating, integrating, and
operating a telecom system. |

- Photo Gallery - We have posted all the
photos that were taken during the production and
competition period of the CanSat project. The
photos have been organized and grouped into
different categories for easier browsing.
- Movies - In the movies section you will
find different clips that were taken during the
production period such as the drop tests.
- Proposal - As a requirement for
application in this competition a Proposal was
developed. (The proposal briefly describes the
goals of the CanSat project)
- Documents - As part of the development
cycle of the CanSat project, many documents
were written, you'll find a brief description of
them here.
- Specs - In this section you will find all
the specifications pertaining to the CanSat
machine.
- Award - You guessed it, we won
first place! In this section you'll find a
little more information about what the award is.
